Public involvement
Aims
Our public involvement strategy aims to:
- Understand how researchers and the public work together to deliver good research
- Support ongoing relationships, trust and opportunities with under-served communities
- Create ways to involve the public in our research, including rapid response research
- Work with our knowledge mobilisation and communications teams to make sure the public know about our research
- Support researchers and the public with public involvement activities
- Strengthen public involvement in our governance and decision making
Strategy group
Our public involvement strategy group supports public involvement, engagement and participation in our research.
The group is co-chaired by a public contributor and our public involvement leads.
Members of the group include public contributors, researchers and senior management. They work in partnership to develop, monitor and implement the public involvement strategy across the HPRU EBS.
