Research Conversation: Masking and Mental Health in Neurodivergent Young People

25 February @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

About the event

The ‘Masking and Mental Health in Neurodivergent Young People’ project aims to support young people who mask (also known as camouflaging, or hiding differences) their neurodivergence, such as autism or ADHD. We want to develop some freely available resources for young people and their families to use, to promote good mental health and give young people more control over their masking.

Laura is looking to gather suggestions on what kind of resources might be helpful for young people and families.

About the speaker

Dr Laura Hull is a Research Fellow in the Department of Population Health Studies, University of Bristol. Her research focuses on the mental health of neurodivergent people across the lifespan, with a particular interest in masking/camouflaging.
