Pandemic preparedness
We are weaving pandemic preparedness throughout HPRU EBS activities and research themes. Working with the UKHSA Vaccine Development Evaluation Centre, Infection Science Laboratory and other experts, we aim to:
- Focus on developing methodologies that can be adapted in a pandemic
- Scope and develop priority studies which can be activated in a pandemic
- Optimise public health safety measures for future pandemic preparedness
- Build on successful experiences and methods from the COVID-19 pandemic
